Every year, the Cheer Fund gathers food donations that go directly to local families who need a little extra support during the holiday season. These donations don’t just fill cupboards; they lift spirits. They help a parent worry a little less, and they bring comfort and joy to children who deserve to feel the magic of the holidays.

Even the simplest item, such as a can, cereal, or a box of macaroni and cheese, can make a real difference. When we all give a little, our community receives a lot.

Your food donation can bring hope, warmth, and a holiday meal to a family right here at home.

What kind of food can you donate?

Cheer Fund accepts shelf-stable food donations:

  • soup, ramen noodles, mac & cheese, ravioli & spaghetti cups, spaghetti, spaghetti sauce

  • instant mashed potatoes, fruit cups, applesauce cups, self-contained snack foods

  • cereal, Pop-Tarts, breakfast bars, instant oatmeal, self-contained breakfast items

Want to make a difference this holiday season? Stop by Walmart and help us stuff the bus!

Volunteers will hand out item lists at the door. Add the items to your cart, check out, and stuff the yellow bus outside! The food and essentials in the bus will help make a difference for families right here in Decatur County
